Who We Are

Infrastructure built where it matters most

BawaCap Limited is a Kenyan general contracting firm specialising in telecom infrastructure and civil works. Locally incorporated and rooted in Nairobi, we build the foundational infrastructure that powers a connected Kenya — from tower foundations and BTS implementation to site civil works and solar integration.

We work as a trusted subcontractor to Kenya's leading infrastructure partners — Leadcom Kenya and American Towers Company — delivering projects for major network operators including Safaricom and Airtel. Our teams are known for reliability, technical precision, and strict adherence to industry standards.

While our role is technical, the impact is human: large populations remain excluded from economic, educational, and informational systems simply because connectivity has not yet reached them. Every tower we build changes that — and BawaCap sits at the intersection of infrastructure, clean energy, and access.

Solar-powered towers. Communities connected.

A core constraint in underserved regions is energy. BawaCap addresses this directly — solar integration is a core part of our tower construction scope, reducing dependence on diesel generators and enabling reliable operation in off-grid or energy-constrained areas where grid power is unavailable or unreliable.

This approach lowers emissions, improves long-term resilience, and aligns connectivity expansion with climate responsibility — making each tower not just a signal source, but a sustainable asset for the community it serves.

Beyond network access, some of our tower sites incorporate free community charging stations for phones and computers — often becoming informal hubs of connection, learning, and small-scale economic activity in areas with limited electricity access.
